JOSEPH he/him
Meet Joseph, the co-founder and senior stylist at nu-hair in Oxford. Joseph began his career in 2013, training and qualifying at one of Oxford's prestigious salons, renowned for their exemplary training and educational programs. During this period, Joseph excelled and progressed in his career, becoming an assistant creative director and featuring onstage at one of the UK’s major exhibitions for the professional hairdressing industry. Joseph has also worked on photo shoots, with one of his haircuts featured on the front cover of Estetica magazine USA.
Seeking a new challenge, Joseph was inspired to create a salon space that was professional yet had a relaxed vibe, allowing him to focus solely on his passion for cutting hair. In 2022, he and Jodie opened nu-hair, a gender-neutral salon that emphasises quality and inclusivity. Joseph continues to put his passion into practice, tailoring each individual haircut to meet his clients' needs.
JODIE she/her
Meet Jodie the co-founder and senior stylist at nu-hair in Oxford. Jodie began her career in 2016, training and qualifying at one of Oxford's prestigious salons, renowned for their exemplary training and educational programs. During this period Jodie specialised in haircutting and became passionate in providing thoughtfully crafted haircuts to her clients. Jodie has also had the opportunity to assist and take part in educational seminars, building on her passion for hairdressing and learning new techniques and skills that she uses to make sure her clients receive a five star service.
Looking to create a positive salon environment, Jodie was determined to establish a friendly and welcoming space for her clients where she could dedicate her skills to what she loves most—cutting hair. In 2022, she and Joseph founded nu-hair, adopting a modern approach to hairdressing. Jodie loves meeting new clients and is committed to delivering the best service to each one.
